Is ordering with fancydressjokeshop.co.uk safe?
All our orders are handled using 128-bit encryption that ensures all your details are safe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers and payments are processed by PayPal.

How do I make a purchase?
To make a purchase, simply browse our products, and then click "ADD TO BASKET". You may need to select a size and / or colour preference from the drop downs first. Cookies must be enabled on your browser for the cart system to work. If you are having difficulty, read the section below regarding Enabling Cookies. If you are a new user you will be required to register which involves submitting a few details about yourself. You will then be logged in and ready to proceed to our secure payment area. You need to register in order to track your orders, as part of the order process you will receive emails regarding the progress of your order.

How long will my order take to be delivered?
fancydressjokeshop.co.uk offers various types of delivery:

Royal Mail Special Delivery next day delivery before 4pm.  Standard Delivery 5-7 working days delivery service before 5.30pm.  please contact us. For next day delivery you are able to make an order up to 1pm, after this time your order will be dispatched the next day. If you require a next day delivery after this time please enquire as during quieter times we will still be able to dispatch your order.

Is it possible to track my order?
Yes. By logging in using the details you supplied during registration, you can keep track of your order to see what stage of delivery it is at.

Returns and Refunds
Order Cancellation: Pre-Shipment
If you wish to cancel an order or part order transaction before it is shipped, please do so immediately by telephone on 01382 322 248 and you will be given an order cancellation reference. You will not be charged any penalty and your credit card transaction will be cancelled. If the order has been shipped, then the Post-Shipment cancellation will apply.

Order Cancellation: Post-Shipment
If you wish to cancel an order or part order transaction after it is shipped, please do so by telephone on 01382 322 248 and you will be given an order returns reference. You may cancel your order up to 7 working days following the day on which you receive the goods you ordered. You will be invited to return the goods and packaging in the same condition as received. Due to personal hygiene there are no returns or exchanges on teeth, facial hair, tights, wigs and makeup. The cost of return must be borne by the customer and we recommend that recorded delivery is used as a minimum service and in instances of valuable items an insured service i.e. Royal Mail Special Delivery will indemnify you against damage in transit.

This is not intended to be a full statement of all your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations. Full details of your rights under the Distance Selling Act are available from your Local Citizens Advice Bureau or your Local Authoritys Trading Standards Office.

You will need to include the Returns Number together with your original delivery note and goods, a failure to do so will result in a delay of any refund. No refund will be processed until returned goods are received.

After 7 working days following the day on which you receive the goods you ordered. it is at the discretion of fancydressjokeshop.co.uk as to whether a refund will be offered and in all cases where it is agreed that goods maybe returned a 25% handling fee will be applied.

Note: In all instances where packaging has been damaged or goods are not as new it will be at the sole discretion of fancydressjokeshop.co.uk as to whether a full or partial refund will be applied. Where goods cannot be refunded, postage cost for return of goods must be borne by the customer. Where a customer does not agree to the return postage charge the said goods will be destroyed after 30 days.

We do not refund or exchange items which are opened from a sealed package. (The majority of our costumes do not come in a sealed package, however in instances where they do this will be included in the product description).

Returns Policy - Faulty Goods
Should a product be faulty, you should let us know immediately by telephone on 01382 322 248 and you will be given an order damaged reference. fancydressjokeshop.co.uk will be happy to refund or exchange the damaged item for you.

You will need to include the Returns Number together with your original delivery note and goods, a failure to do so will result in a delay of any refund.

Note: Replacement goods or refund will be authorised after inspection of returned goods and fancydressjokeshop.co.uk will have no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, misuse, alteration or repair of goods.

No, at this time we are not able to ship internationally.

For instructions on how to remedy this, view the two sections below - the first is for Internet Explorer users, and the second is for Netscape users.
